Day 1: Casablanca» Rabat» Fes[340 Km]
On the first day of your 8-days Morocco tour, one of the best Morocco Sahara tours, we will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca to begin our tour. Start with a visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque. Then, travel to Rabat, the administrative capital, to visit the impressive Hassan Tower. Day 2: Fes sightseeing tour with a local guide
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day tour around the Medina (old part of the city). You’ll explore the narrow, winding streets of the Fes el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit historic landmarks such as Al Quaraouiyine University, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Chouara Tannery. The tour continues with a visit to the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts and the Fes el-Jdid area, including the Royal Palace and Mellah. Day 3: Fes » Azrou » Midelt » Erfoud » Merzouga [470 km]
Continuing our 8-days tour from Casablanca, we depart around 08:30 am towards the desert, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can see wild monkeys climbing the trees.
Later, we travel through the scenic Ziz Valley and Erfoud, known for its marble fossils. We then drive to Merzouga via Rissani, a bustling commercial hub where various tribes gather to trade goods. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where you will experience the stunning Sahara Desert and spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the starry sky
Day 4:Tour around Erg Chebbi Dunes & Visit a Nomad Family [45 km]
Today, we will explore the stunning Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga, where nomadic families still reside. Begin with a visit to the seasonal lake of Merzouga and the village of Khamlia to experience traditional Gnawa music.
Later, we visit some abandoned mines and a picturesque oasis of palm trees. Enjoy a local lunch before returning to the guest house. In the afternoon, embark on a camel ride into the sand dunes to fully experience the desert landscape.
Day 5: Merzouga » Todra Gorge » Dades Valley [265 km]
After capturing memorable photos of the sunrise, we return to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Then, we begin our journey to Dades Valley, passing through Erfoud, known for its marble fossils, and Jorf, famous for its traditional irrigation systems.
Next, we continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, home to one of the most impressive canyons in Morocco. Finally, we arrive at Dades Valley, where you will enjoy the stunning landscapes and spend the night.
Day 6: Dades Valley » AIt Ben Haddou Kasbah » Marrakech [325 km]
After breakfast, we will travel from the Dades Valley to Marrakech. After breakfast at your hotel in the Dades Valley, we will depart towards Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning kasbah and its appearance in many famous films. You will have time to explore the ancient ksar, walk through its narrow alleys, and learn about its historical significance. After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass with its breathtaking views, arriving in Marrakech, drop you off at your accommodation..
Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour with a Local Guide
At around 09:00 am, embark on a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, focusing on the Medina, the old part of the “Red City.”
During this sightseeing tour, you will visit some of the city’s most iconic historical sites, including the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Saadian Tombs, the tranquil Menara Gardens, and the stunning Majorelle Garden. Day 8: Marrakech to Airport
