Day 1: From Marrakech » Ouarzazate » Dades Valley [315 Km]

Day 4: Merzouga » Azrou Cedar forest & Barbary Apes » Fes [466 km]
On the last day of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga, after breakfast, we head northward through the expansive Tafilalet palm grove, recognized as the world’s largest. The route unfolds with thousands of palm trees lining the 20 km road, leading us to the picturesque Ziz Valley. Originating from the High Atlas, the Ziz Valley cascades down, nourishing the palm grove. A stop at a high viewpoint provides a breathtaking panorama of the valley and Aoufous town.
Our adventure continues with a pause in Midelt, nestled in the heart of the Atlas. Here, you’ll have ample free time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we traverse the Cedar Woods, where we may encounter some monkeys if luck is on our side. Our next destination is Ifrane, perched on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at an altitude of 1630 meters.
Ifrane’s expansive avenues, meticulous urban planning, pristine cleanliness, lush gardens, green spaces, and unique architecture impart a Swiss town ambiance. Ifrane seems like a piece of Switzerland transplanted into Morocco, earning it the moniker “the Moroccan Switzerland.” Adding to its allure, Ifrane hosts a notable ski resort, Michlifen.
