Our route takes us along the contours of the expansive Erg Chebbi, the sandy desert home to the legendary Big Dune of Morocco, towering at a majestic height of more than 250 meters. We’ll trace the path of the former Paris-Dakar rally, affording stunning views of the mountains bordering Algeria.

Throughout the day, we’ll make notable stops, including the Tissardmin oasis, where traces of fossil quarries from the past can still be seen. Continuing along the road, you’ll encounter nomadic settlements, providing insight into their unique way of life.

On the last day of our 5-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga, after breakfast, we head northward through the expansive Tafilalet palm grove, recognized as the world’s largest. The route unfolds with thousands of palm trees lining the 20 km road, leading us to the picturesque Ziz Valley. Originating from the High Atlas, the Ziz Valley cascades down, nourishing the palm grove. A stop at a high viewpoint provides a breathtaking panorama of the valley and Aoufous town.

Our adventure continues with a pause in Midelt, nestled in the heart of the Atlas. Here, you’ll have ample free time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we traverse the Cedar Woods, where we may encounter some monkeys if luck is on our side. Our next destination is Ifrane, perched on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at an altitude of 1630 meters.
