Day 1: Fes to Merzouga via Azrou, Midelt and Erfoud [467 Km]

Following breakfast, the journey continues to Tinghir and the breathtaking Todra Gorge, renowned as the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. This geological wonder provides an ideal setting for hiking and relaxation along the riverbanks, offering opportunities to savor local Berber delicacies. Lunch amidst the gorge’s heart is a delightful pause before driving through the scenic Dades Valley.
The day concludes with an overnight stay at a charming mountain-top hotel, providing a serene retreat at the pinnacle of the landscape.
Day 4: Todra Gorge to Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate [168 km]
After having breakfast at the hotel, our journey start off along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. The roadside is lined with big old kasbahs, some fixed up nicely, but many are in ruins. We drive through the Dades Valley, then take an off-road trail through the mountains, passing Berber villages and even a few nomads living in caves. It’s a chance to visit one of these families, see their daily life, and how they take care of their herds of goats and sheep.
The landscapes become truly impressive as we move through the colorful Rose Valley before arriving at the Skoura palm grove. Continuing on for another 45 Km, we finally reach Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate » High Atlas » Marrakech [196 km]
After breakfast, our day starts with a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah. Afterward, we head to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore its historic beauty. Continuing our journey, we visit the traditional Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. Lunch awaits at a local restaurant in Telouet, and then we descend the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, concluding our 5-days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga.
